If there is a lot of photos to be uploaded, resize images one by one would be cumbersome and time consuming. To speed up the process of resizing the road to resize the whole picture, there is some software that can be used such as Windows Live Photo Gallery which I normally use, or using the software Image Tuner into this discussion.

Image Tuner is a software for editing photos with limited utility for batch resizing, converting, watermarking and renaming your image files. Features more appropriate, written in the website are:
o 100% Freeware. No spyware, adware, banners etc.
o Resize, rename, watermark and convert images in batch mode
o The most fastest image resizing algorithm
o Supports common formats (JPEG, BMP, PNG, GIF, TIFF, PCX etc.)
o Supports camera RAW (CRW, CR2, RAW, NEF, DCR, X3F, ORF etc.)
o Variable options and settings for advanced users
o Built-in size templates: iPod, iPhone, Facebook, Twitter, DVD etc.
o Configurable compression / resolution ratio
o Load / save settings and image lists
o Clean, easy to use interface
o Small installation file ~ 2MB
o Supports Windows 98/ME/NT/2000/XP/Vista/7 (32 and 64 bit)
To initiate the operation you can add folders or files to be manipulated. Another way is to do drag n drop photo files into the program window. Next is to specify a directory to save the results, determine the desired maximum size, specify the destination file format if you want to convert, specify the file name if you want to rename, and / or specify the image file if you want to add a watermark.
After executing the desired operation, you can find the results in the destination folder is set just as before.
